Testimonials

We are so glad we took the Kopa Birth class and ended up with a totally natural delivery for our baby. My husband was so supportive and helped me through the entire labor. I feel really lucky to have had him as we worked as a team for the entire labor. Our baby daughter is lucky to have such an amazing dad! – A. Evans, Atlanta
We had a completely natural birth without any interventions at the hospital, and it was the most incredible experience. I spent most of my labor in the bathroom, the magical cave of wonders! We brought LED candles like you suggested, and turned that bathroom into a little safe haven. It was SUCH a great tip. I was either in the tub with hot water flowing over me or in the shower doing my hip dances, haha. We had an amazing doula by our sides the entire time and every part of the birth was just storybook. I used a lot of the breathing tips and positioning tips from the videos we watched in your class as well. Thank you so much for all of the information you provided! K. Martin-Atlanta
Every time the nurses or midwives came to check in, they complimented us, noticing how well we worked together and how my husband was basically a doula. He was so amazing, he was very attentive, repeating positive affirmations and making sure I was hydrated, he also reminded me to relax and breath during contractions. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthing partner. Thank you Gwynne for our Kopa Birth class and training him so well! -A. Barr, Atlanta
It was interesting doing a natural birth at our hospital. The staff kept saying, how they couldn’t believe I wasn’t taking anything for the pain. They thought I was a true champion and commented that people just don’t do that, very often. The pain was intense, but it was not unbearable with all of the tools we had learned to use to cope with the contractions. Thank you, Gwynne for our Kopa Birth class. I really feel that it prepared us while it also, gave us the confidence to cope through labor, something that initially, I was very afraid to attempt. -K. Force, Atlanta

I was able to deliver via a natural, unmedicated birth, without breaking a sweat! I began showing signs of early labor, Saturday late afternoon and by Sunday night, went into active labor, when things started moving along very quickly. By the time we arrived at the hospital, I was 8 cm dilated! After 2 hours of “pushing”, he came out, in one strong push! We couldn’t have brought our sweet boy into this world the way we wished and had this beautiful experience, without the tools we learned in your Kopa Birth class so we wanted to extend a sincere thank you, from the bottom of our hearts — Thank you a million times over! -A & B Keith, Atlanta

I still remember the peace you gave me in the first few weeks, after the twins were born, it is completely due to your loving, confident demeanor. K. H.- Avondale Estates

After I had my daughter, I struggled greatly with postpartum depression and anxiety. A friend of mine highly recommended Gwynne to me, as a means of support. Gwynne has truly been a lifesaver to both my family and me. She is loving and warm, deeply knowledgeable about newborn care. Because of Gwynne, my husband and I have learned many tricks to help soothe and care for our daughter. But most importantly, Gwynne allows moms and dads to feel confident and empowered along their challenging journey of parenthood. We are incredibly blessed to have had her supporting our family.
